Is it just me, or are non standard screen resolutions becoming more and more common on mobile devices? Obviously Apple does it with most of their "retina" screens (the only exception I can think of is the 13" rMBP uses a 2560x1600 screen, with is just the 16:10 equivalent of 1440p), but even PC manufacturers are doing it now. The Surface book has a weird screen resolution, the Asus Transformer 3 is 2,880x1,920, and there's more. Do they just not care about interpolation when most content is created for 1080p, 1440p, or 4k displays?
