If you are a minority in the cs field then a boot camp is all that's necessary. If not you should get a degree. I'm being completely honest here.

Do you want a job sooner or later.?

The CS degree would undoubtedly be better overall in the long run but it's 3-4 years long. If you are just looking to quickly up skill then go with the camp.
