I recently bought a highly rated normal deskchair, but its just not comfy, whats worse is its falling apart
please /g/, im begging you, share your wizard, what is the best comfy chair?

Pic related is what I bought
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XBC3BF0/

i have some chair with a neck rest i got at a garage sale

feels comfy
>>
Have you tried walking into Staples or Office Depot and sitting in all of their chairs?
>>
>>54812079
yeah some of the most comfy chairs seem to be short, they dont come up high enough
and the ones which lean back slightly make the keyboard too far away
and personally when i listen to music, i like to rock slightly
but you cant do that with most chairs because they start to squeak like crazy & then my moms friends wonder what the fuck the sound is & they come in & tart bullying me
>>
>>54812118
im not leaving the house to pick out a chair, ill only buy a chair online
its bullshit, i dont want people to see me sitting in chairs plus the normies will not understand my complaints
I want the cream of the crop and i assume /g/ has already found the ultimate chairs & just refuses to share them with me

Herman Miller Kazuhira Aeron
best chair
>>
>>54812129
>>54812142
Embody is likely better.
>>
>>54812129
That stigma is how I landed in a shitty chair. They don't have them on display just for looks.

"People gonna look at me sitting in a bunch of chairs"

Nah, just do it. Better than trusing random people on the net.

Most high backed chairs come up to my shoulders. I don't want to spend a grand on a piece of furniture yet. I went to an office supply chain and tried out the big and tall chairs. Fuck! I leaned back and my feet weren't touching the ground. It's like a eureka moment.

I made me think chairs are supposed to support your legs and you DON'T have to keep crossing them. Alternating sitting on the right and left leg. Thick cushions to prevent the edges from cutting off your blood flow. Arm rests that reach up to your elbows. A higher weight limit that means the piston won't fail after six months.

Yeah I like my chair.

>>54812405
Bingo. Realized the same shit today.

Had one of these and it fell apart after just half a year.
I got myself a Dxracer when it was on sale for €100. Pretty comfy and sturdy chair despite looking like edgy gamer shit.

>>54812512
This is also great.
>>

> Dxracer
> edgy gamer shit
This

I'm in the market for a comfy, durable and supportive chair I can spend hours in. Dxracer's are in my budget, but fuck they look cringey. And there's a weird gap between a budget chair that deteriorates after two years and expensive as fuck designer chair that feels great. In this gap there only exists 'gamer chairs' and they all look like race car seats. Shit's fucked mate

BTEC 820 Big & Tall Executive Fabric High-Back Chair
Last I saw it a week ago, it was on clearance for 199$ in a Sacramento office depot.
>>
Steelcase Leap

You can pick them up for $300 refurbished. You can get good deals on them off craigslist too because basically nobody except autistic shitposters want to buy a chair that's $250, so you can jew people down by crazy amounts since they want to get rid of it.
>>
>>54811953
Go to Costco Online

See their selection of office chairs.

http://www.costco.com/high-back.html?langId=-1&storeId=10301&catalogId=10701&identifier=high-back&categoryId=31157&sortBy=PriceMin%7C0

http://www.costco.com/task.html?langId=-1&storeId=10301&catalogId=10701&identifier=task&categoryId=31327&sortBy=PriceMin%7C0

Don't tell me /g/ doesn't have a Costco membership card because Costco's return policy is worth it.

Almost bought a DXracer chair last night. I'm 6'4" and I'm looking for a tall chair that could reach my head, but I'm realizing that there aren't many out there (from what I've seen). The Racing Series from DXracer is the only one with a 34" back seat height. Fuck me.

Anyone have any recommendations for a high-back desk chair? Looking for at least like 33" back seat height.

Bought it in early double aughts... Do not get the silicon ass check rest. It will ooze after 5-10 years. Also Number 1 Chair addition is discrete hemorrhoid pillow.

Also if you buy a used one. Use moly grease to re-coat bearings. All chairs will squeek this one less after 15 years. Yet maintain it. Like cleaning your keyboard, mouse and comp internals.
>>
>>54814598
What is the name of the chair with the ring? Is it a drafting char.
>>
how are the ikea ones?
>>
I've been using the same high back office chair for more than a decade.

The reason it's been so great is adjustable arm rest height.

im using an old couch-chair. pic kinda related...

- dirty (mine looks like someone gave birth on it)
- effort to move around with it
- neck hurts after longer time

+comfy
+can move around on it

Not sure how its for my spine. Don't have any problems with it yet. I think the reason for that is because i can move around, sit in different ways on it.
Follow my Blog for future entries.

I used to have one like yours, super comfy, but sat too low to my desk so I gave it away. Might pick up another from the local used hotel furniture store though.
>>
>>54816213
Mine fits perfectly. Got lucky i guess.

How long did you use it? any problems with your back/neck? Any long-time problems?
I'm worried since no one is getting younger neither do i. And i already feel the age having affect on me.
>>
>>54816237
I had it for about 2 years and had no problems with it, even slept in it a couple of mornings from my night shifts. So far I had no problems.
>>
Herman Miller & Steelcase are the choice to go for high end, unfortunately anything else lower than that is trash for some reason, it's weird.
>>
>>54814186
>$300 bucket seat

>>
>>54816655
Might be the best, but I do want one, just not spending more than $400 for one.

I'll settle with a Lazy boy or something until I really want a nice chair.
>>
It depends on how rich you are. Buy either a high-end task chair, or a used high-end tak chair.

Hermann Miller Aeron. Not even a contest. Yes its expensive. It's still worth it.
>>
>>54811953
I had a fabric counterpart to that from a B&M store (it's all rebranded shit).

After two weeks the foam completely collapsed and the chair went to shit. I repaired my old chair and resumed using that instead.

Thankfully the shit chair was almost free due to warranty credit.

>>54817240
Agreed. It's between this and the embody really, and from those I've spoken with there's a lot of personal preference between the two. I prefer the Aeron.
>>
>>54817962

This.
>>
>>54814186

I have one of these.

It's fairly stout for my fatass and I sleep in it sometimes, but the arm rests are total pigshit worthless retard babble.
>>
>>54816175

I had a green one like this.

It was like twice as wide as me with 1' wide, low-set arms. It was fucking PERFECT for jerking off, eating, sitting under/at a desk.

Seat broke out and after repairing it several times the frame was too fucked for me to fix it, again.
>>
I just want a chair thats reasonably comfy, not too expensive and doesnt make my ASS sweat. A/C's are not common in my country as cold is what we generally worry about. Summers are hot as FUG though and I really need a reasonably priced solution for this.
Suggest me some good ass chairs.
