I am about to start reading SICP in order to join the Lisp circlejerk and become a wizard. What is the least bloated Scheme interpreter for Wangblows? I am looking for something as simple as whatever Harold Abelson uses in his lectures (https://youtu.be/2Op3QLzMgSY?t=2135).
you will have a better time using DrRacket, it has the sicp lang implementation as well

I already tried it and it’s way too bloated. It takes 38 seconds to launch and it takes almost as much RAM as Pale Moon.

I guess they use MIT Scheme: https://www.gnu.org/software/mit-scheme/
This page even got windows binaries.

This is the only right answer, by far the fastest scheme compiler ever made. It used to be $1000+ to use but it was finally open sourced last month
>>54786795
Oh yeah right, it's been open sourced, that's great.

DrRacket is nice and easy to use
