sup /g/ what do you think are the best gaming mice out there? i've had a deathadder 2013 for a long time and looking for an upgrade also general gaming mouse dicussion
I personally use the Naga Epic Chroma. Have had it for 2 years. No problems on the mouse but I'm sure you know how Snyapse likes to act up.

Sensors are the same across all mice unless you go for the absolute shit-tier ones, only difference is shape, weight and extra buttons.

Not OP, but I just bought a G300S after my second chinese fake mouse died on me. While I'm waiting for it to arrive, I'm using some noname featureless USB mouse that I've had for nearly a decade.
It seems modest stuff doesn't break easily, and Chinese stuff either breaks really quickly or never.

if your deathadder still works, then just keep it. optical sensors are great all-around nowadays, so i think the best gaming mouse is the one that you find the most comfy.
i can vouch for the roccat kpm, ss rival 300, and zowie ec1-a (my favorite) as being great alternatives.

Agreed, Logitech G502 is the shit.
Used to have a Razor Imperator, nowhere near as good.
Top G502 feature IMO: Insanely high accuracy/sensitivity
Not turning into a cesspit from my hand being on it all day long is a nice bonus.

You can't do this anymore on boards that lack native USB 2.0 ports, since USB 3.0/3.1 aren't polling-based. I learned this the hard way when getting a Z97 board, but recovered when I dumped my IMO for a DeathAdder, which is pretty much the perfect mouse for someone that liked the giant fucking IMO as a teenager
The fact that no new WMO/IMO mice are being made, with all the ones on eBay being fakes or overpriced, means that eventually these meme mice are gonna have to be retired at some point
Get the g402. It's not as good as the g502, but it's $20 cheaper and has everything you would ever need from a gaming mouse.
Get the g502 if you have enough money and don't mind spending the difference.
