A chinese company is offering 36TB for free. Normally, I wouldn't complain but heres the thing. If you have even 200 customers, you're already over what? 1 Zetabyte if not a Yottabyte? Does Google even have this?

http://www.1mtb.com/how-to-get-36-tb-free-cloud-storage-from-qihoo-360-yunpan-cloud-drive/

Should I be skeptic? Or am I over thinking this.
>>
Nobody uses the 36TB... that is the trick.

what a retarded post.

Typical chinkshit false advertising

Not that I would trust the fucking chingchongs with a bit of my data

>Yep, it does, but it’s not as good as it looks, after two weeks, I’ve reached the conclusion that it’s an awful service, uploading wise and it’s not worth the trouble. Maybe some chinese payed for it, I’ve seen the screen caps of the guy using 1TB, but I never managed to work around it. Uploading went bust after 25GB or so, it uploads 2GB/day then it never manages to upload at least one single file for the remaining 23 hours or so. Tried to make a 2nd account, upload from there with full speed, and then import that data to the first account on the web page, it never let me log in from a download page. Possibly to prevent bypassing of speed limitations.

>All in all, it’s a nice gimmick / marketing tactic offering so much space, but it’s not worth it, i.e. not real. Trust me!

>It’s the only reason I’ve come here, to make a “review” and worn people to not waste their time.

I was thinking about how someone could allow 36TB; the largest drive being 16TB from samsung, they are currently 7k a piece. How would a company be able to do something like that with out spending close to a mil in the first 100 costumers right? or 70k. You get my point. I'm sure they give a discount if you buy in bulk like all places do.

But giving away 36TB seems like something you wouldn't see at least for nother 10 years right?

Yes, and don't expect a fucking Chinese company to do it first.

aren't pretty much all hard drives built by chinese companies? just like other electronics?
>>
Amazon prime drive is best to hide all my porn pics from 4chan
>>
It's the same way many businesses such as banks and telephone companies operate.
>>
>>54674450
then who did it first?

>>54674478
For the most part. I'm guessing, if true, then more than likely, they can get the HDD's in bulk but then where the shit you gonna put that many hard drives?

>>54674608
what about Mega?

>>54674755
I can see that
>>
>>54674793
>what about Mega
I put books and magazines on there.

Amazon prime drive has unlimited storage for picture files like jpg and png so I put all my porn pics there
>>
>>54674891
are you sure it's safe? the minute you put something on there they don't like, BAM out. That happened to me with my google drive. I use to keep all my porn, google updated some shit and then 6 months later, my gmail, drive, youtube, all taken away and I had to start from scatch. They wouldn't let me use it all. I tried to get ahold of google and go figure, the phone just kept ringing.

It's better than trusting the fatties anyway
>>
>>54674401
Offering 36TB doesn't mean you set aside 36TB for each customer. That would be monumentally stupid considering the vast majority of people won't go anywhere near that high. Onedrive offered unlimited storage for a year before backing out for stupid reasons, and there's some other company that I forget the name of still doing it.

thats what i was thinking too anon
