Is there a tool in any GNU/Linux distros comparable to Powershell?
For example, to write/run scripts which interact with OS APIs (see pic related) or third-party object code libraries (.dll/.so)
Preferable one which uses a familiar language (like PS->C#) and not a unique snowflake language, for ease of documentation

Linux's ulitilies and software tend to work well in the terminal so you can use them in a bash script w/o hacking .dlls together.
