Better shock resistance, better adjustability and timekeeping, more metal parts and hand winding. The loss of the 60-click bezel is worth it just to have a movement thag isn't shit.

Learn about vintage Seikos and then go troll the used goods shops for deals.
Vintage watches are almost not even a hobby in Japan so you can find shit for WAY below its value internationally.
There are a few guys on eBay who make a living flipping vintage Japanese watches that way.
