I ended up losing my knob and now I need to fit a new one to my shaft. The problem is that my head is not threaded but actually ribbed. Does anyone have any good recommendations for sliding a new knob onto my shaft?

Would like to say something about sunglasses which was not recommended in previous pastebins, but corrected later to actually okay.
There was recently a test in my country where they tried cheap sunglasses all the way up to more expensive RayBans. They tested the UV coating and if the glass was correctly shaped. The result was that all were just as good, looks and build quality is ofc another thing... They probably were not bought from chink sites, but we all know many of them are chink-made anyway.
I can, however, not guarantee the ones you have does include good UV coating, scratch-free glass, correct glass shape so I guess you just have to trust the chinks if they write polarized of whatever if you can't test it.
If you wonder what currency is used then it is NOK, the cheapest ones on the left side which passed the tests is like $15.

Depends on what you want to use it for. I think they're fairly accurate (haven't tested mine agains a control yet), they're not hard to make anyways. But the max temp can be limiting. Mine can do up to ~380 degrees C, which isn't enough to measure my motorcycle's exhaust pipes for example. I have that exact one, it feels fairly cheap but does the job.

I first thought this is some cheap chink garbage, but it's actually a real Billabong product. I haven't found them from the billabong store and I don't know the brand so well.
Material is 100% poly. They had a price tag of $79.50 USD on them. There's only one pocket and it contained some sort of fancy Billabong comb tool. Judging from the price tag and all the logos, this is the authentic product.

I will be measuring temperatures of components which typically range up to max 100 degrees. The use is calibrating temperature sensors pretty much. I have a great deal of temperature sensors which I know are supplying WAY TOO HIGH values and need serious calibration.
I bought a Syma X8C, Walkera G-2D, DJI Phantom tall and wide legs and Xiaomi Yi. I spent a few days soldering/bolting cutting bits off and sanding stuff to make everything fit together and this is the result. Original video is in 2k and much better quality but youtube is shit.

Yup, and the reason you don't have to care for how precise it is because we won't be making it extremely accurate just more accurate. The sensor itself is not worth calibrating in many of these as the temperature will probably never be checked or bothered with unless it overheats. This is why I need to make sure it's not outputting too high readings like now because it's saying it's overheating when it's clearly not hot enough to overheat.

Found out that ideal temperature fore Coke Zero is around 3.5C among other things.
HTC 10 apparently features a separate DAC from the Snapdragon 800-series one which supposedly does not sound that great due to noise (come on 2016 - we had shit loudness and hissing on phones long ago not fixed yet? Blame Qualcomm?)
With that said, does any of these chink phone companies think about making a music phone for once? I would care less about the camera as I have more premium ones anyway. Such a shame. The portable TI DAC/amp I bought was $35 from Chinkweb though and it's been the best audio purchase I've done yet. Hopefully it holds. Main loudness problem causing hissing often occurs in AOSP code, it's less of an occurrence for example in my stock HTC One m7 ROM. It can't. The USB port in the PC has current limiting. You will notice that when you short the power leads of a USB device plugged in. WIndows will complain that it can't recognize the device because the ports limits the current low enough so the device wont turn on.

Got my Superlux HD-660s today and so far I'm remarkably impressed.
They feel well made, parts which obviously take the most strain are made from metal instead of plastic and the whole thing feels fairly solid.
The headband has a nice soft padding around it, the cans themselves have a soft but firm padding around them, which squishes down but not so far that they become pointless.
In terms of isolation when they are on your head you can't hear anything outside and anyone outside can't hear your music, unless it's at extreme levels.
The quality, a difficult subject, I have no real means of testing and nor am I some sort of audio engineer expert. I can say that over the years I've used many different speakers and headsets, up to and including my own stax electrostatic setup, if that makes any difference for you. The superlux HD-660s sound great to me.
They are nice and clear, powerful. They don't seem overly bassy, they aren't clipping or distorting.
My one complaint with them is the cord. It comes with a 3m coiled cord which is all well and good but it is coiled so tightly that any amount of extension will put force on it as it tries to shrink back down, meaning that unless you're sitting right next to wherever it is plugged in, and I really do mean within 12", there's going to be noticeable pull on your head, which is very uncomfortable.
Now I've solved this problem with a simple extension lead which allows the cable to lay slack but it still annoyed me.
I give these cans 8 out of 10, if the cable was removable that would happily be an 8.5 out of 10.
