I was hoping someone could help me figure this out, I'm not finding anything despite searching a bunch. theres is a file type named file, how would i convert or open it. its not opening in any program i have or opening with browsers

did that just said application cant run on this computer, then i tried changing it to a video file and also didn work

If you don't mind installing another program, try opening it with Notepad++

You won't find the exact info you're looking for after opening it, but you should see more header information that MIGHT be searchable

okay so update i have a couple of these, when i switched a different one to .wmv without having already done the .exe on it it opens as a video but with audio only. based on the audio i know theres video too. ive tried it on stock video player and vlc. any advice to make the video appear?
