Why is code autocompletion for C++ so fucking hard for IDE devs

Why is code autocompletion for C++ so fucking hard for IDE devs to do right? Visual Studio is the only thing that works every time. VS for Linux when?

Code::Blocks handles it just fine, though. CLion also does it well if you insist on using proprietary software.

16.01 is the newest version, try it out. I've never found a situation where it doesn't autocomplete.
