Any shipping place worth its salt (USPS, UPS, chinkydick express) can pre-generate shipping numbers for a shipment. Anyone who has done online selling can tell you that you can go buy your shipping labels and print them at home. This creates a tracking number.

With a tracking number you can say that your package has been shipped- seen it a lot on eBay. Sometimes it even happens automatically. However all that means is that a tracking number has been created. It does not mean that your package has been shipped. That is why a tracking number does not activate even though it's been 'shipped'

You will know that your package has actually been shipped when it gets scanned into the system and activates.

Source: Buying and selling stuff online, including having eBay tell my buyer that the item was shipped even though I merely bought a shipping label.

My 64gb iPhone 5S came from Shenzhen on Wednesday! Brilliant phone, I am so pleased. The battery is new, based on performance so far. It's probably a refurb but, still, I got a really great deal on it.

They're pretty rare because the company that made it in collaboration with the one selling it in the west had a falling out making them pretty rare and hard to come by, especially that specific rpm version. I want to start fuck around with drones. Specifically use it in a construction waste recycling yard to look at shit high up.

I am tech capable and someone recommended a cx-20 pathfinder (for cords and patrols). and then trying to change the camera to a different one with a gimble. Anyone have experience with these?

Also alliexpress is 10 bucks more than amazon for the drone. Anyone know a cheaper option?

I was looking at the xiaomi cameras as well.

So, I just got my xiaomi redmi 3 this early afternoon.

Here are my very short first impressions of it. Take note that my previous phone was an iphone 4 from 2010.

>It's fucking huge (not that huge and quite useable with one hand, but given my previous phone this took a little bit of getting used to). Though I'm quite enjoying the screen size now.
>Really impressed with the camera, performs great in good to decent lighting. Pictures become grainy in low lighting, still decent though.
>MIUI is quite intuitive and user friendly, I barely feel the need to install anything since almost everything I need is already there
>You can make it really fucking not-bright, watch out to not turn the brightness all the way down or you may have a problem (was able to fix this by going to the camera via the lockscreen and accessing the gallery after taking a picture and from there accessing the setting panel)
>I can watch anime on it. 720p chinese cartoons playback smoothly, the screen has great viewing angles and the colors look nice and sharp.

I'll post a more extensive review in a few days once I've gotten to know the phone better, but if you were to ask me whether you should buy this phone right now, I'd definitely say yes. For 150 bucks, I regret nothing.

Pic related, took this with the camera of the redmi 3 earlier today

you can unlock in another way but its basically a 50/50 chance of bricking the phone. Just do it the normal way.

You need to flash a MIUI developer rom to first with a tool because for some retarded reason it dosent work to unlock the bootloader with an official rom.
>>
>>54412182
>50/50 chance of bricking the phone

lol what are you talking about, no it isnt
>>
>>54412114
The nano fake? I got the light blue one. It shows photos and txt files very well, videos too if you have the right format (you will need to convert, but I'd ratehr use my phone for videos)
Music works really well, but only if you have your music organized properly. It can't read metadata so you need to pick your files from folder structure and file name. If you have FLACs with metadata this is not a problem if you use dBpoweramp, it does that automatically for you. But otherwise you'll need to put some work into it.

You can only use random mode for the files in the folder you picked - so if you don't like listening to full albums get something else.

Audio quality is fine, can't make out any difference to my phones,

Cushion. Cat is a 16lb Meme Coon and jacket is a padded motorcycle jacket which makes the cushion appear smaller than it actually is. Material feels a bit like fleece to me. Wife tells me it's polyester/cotton which coincidentally is what the product description says (she hasn't seen that). The stuffing level is perfect; coupled with the fleece-esque outer layer it's almost like squeezing an animal, and it's very comfortable as a lower backrest. Some of the stitching around the bottom (from where it was clearly filled) looks slightly suspect but that's hardly on display and even if it starts to tear, even a piss-poor repair job isn't going to be on display. Of note is that it's sewn shut rather than zipped and is clearly not designed to be opened, which may pose cleaning problems should you decide to fuck it.

I would definitely recommend.

I got one of these. I can't even remember which colour I got. It was a piece of shit and the left/right turn function stopped working after five minutes. Also it wouldn't charge. The Meme Coon absolutely loved it and in principle it's a much more energy-efficient way to play with him than having to get up and throw toys around the house for him to chase, but as it's a defective piece of appalling chinkshit that fully justifies the Nanking massacre I would hesitate to recommend it to potential buyers unless I really disliked them.

>Xiaomeme USB fan
I love this thing. The shaft is flexible so you can angle it through 180 degrees. However, you can't twist it left and right so it's really only suitable as a powerbank accessory rather than in a laptop or something. The blades detach from the shaft which makes it easier to carry. It's audible but not obnoxiously so, and provides adequate cooling if placed anywhere up to about two feet from your face. After six hours straight plugged in to the Xiaomeme powerbank the powerbank showed it had somewhere between 50 and 75% charge left.

>Xiaomeme USB led flex lamp v2 with dimmer

Shaft is same material/design as the fan, so it can be bent about 270 degrees (it bends past the horizontal, unlike the fan) around the USB port but not twisted side to side. A short press of the button cycles between the five brightness settings, the lowest of which is nightlight-level and the brightest of which would happily do as a torch to get you back from the pub down unlit country lanes late at night since the beam is reasonably spread out. If you shake it there's a slight rattle from the LED unit moving around in the rubbery frame, but nothing particularly concerning.

As with the fan, build quality is generally very solid and it looks good too, kind of like what would happen if Apple partnered with Lidl. No hum from the LEDs. It does get quite warm on the highest setting but nothing to be overly concerned about.

Genuine ones seem to cost about £3 on Ali. Great if you need a properly portable desk lamp and pair it with a powerbank (think camping, fishing etc).
