Install the free version of VMware, install many different VMs, get job doing same, enjoy life easy button mod.
VMware is stupid simple to setup. You can do many complex things with it but just to get started you don't need that much. The server you have, an 8gb mem stick, and another machine to access it. Have a Windows VM, a dozen Linux VMs, some BSD VMs, a BeOS VM, etc.
