somepeople use homescreens on gigantic phones, like those ones with fold out keyboards
you can get it pretty close to linux if you really try

I have a keyboard plugged into my tablet so its ok
Installed gentoo on a huge android tablet, need help with configuring Robota fonts (the ones that come with android os, just to keep consistency between android os and chrooted gentoo environment. It looks like bold font is the default one. Bluetooth keyboard's power is getting low and do not have spare batteries and probably will have to go to store soon, hopefully someone can bring a solution, thanks!

the ones with desktop in the op are autosaged right from the start though, there's definitely a filter for that
