Hello i've just made the switch from an old as fuck 30€ nokia phone an asus zenphone, it was a gift.
I want to know the dos and the donts, what to install etc.
Is there some kind of alarm that can automatically turn on my phone like the old phones do?

If you want free apps, install apptoide and fdroid.
You should root your phone, and install xposed. It seemed kind of pointless when I first got my phone, but after doing it I wished that I did it sooner. Some good modules are Powernap, amplify and youtube adaway. You should also install greenify and adaway. Greenify does not require xposed or root, but it does greatly benefit what it can do. On the otherhand, adaway needs root.
Don't install pirated apps. They're all malware. All of them. Just pay the 2 fucking dollars or find a FLOSS alternative.
