It's not actually that much more powerful in real world applications, especially not in games, which is where they make the most out of their bulk. It doesn't matter anyway, their marketing scam already sold the idea that Pascal is going to be 10x more performance than Maxwell, and normies will eat it all up. Yes, I've seen people recommending others wait for Pascal because it'll be 10x better than Maxwell, people actually believe it, and people that are giving others suggestions, nonetheless.
