Core (l)M(ao) is pretty comfy for $500. It's running Debian Sid and it's pretty fast on normal things. I can use mpv and code so it's all good. Other stuff like editing video, gaymen, compiling, etc. can be done on the desktop.

Mine randomly stopped charging and now it won't turn on. I know its not the USB port, since I allowed it to discharge completely (removed the battery and let it sit), and when I plugged it back in the charging light does not come on BUT if I try to turn it on the orange "low power light" does. ex-venue 8 pro owner here. I've had the same isue at one point. THe problem is that this product suffers from the "battery rundown" problem, where if its got insufficient charge, then it wont turn on.

I think i fixed mine by charging it overnight with the dell charger. YOu could also try to manually charge up the battery by plugging in some sort of power supply straight to it(3.8v, 1-2A).
