You do have to comply with a court order but you can challenge it or sue for wrongful accusations.

The case law is mixed in this area.

If the cops already know there's CP on his drive, but not the specifics and extent, a Judge can order that it's simply "production of evidence" to produce the password.

If the cops have a suspicion, but no direct evidence, and are wanting to go on a fishing expedition to nab the guy with CP on his hard drive, the Fifth Amendment applies.
