Don't have the hybrids but I really love my KZ ED9! It sounds the best when I switch to the nozzle with reduced bass. The default nozzle is too bassy to my liking. (It comes with two sets of nozzles that you have to unscrew to switch as in pic related)
Not really an audiophile but I can say it sounds close to my ATH-M50 with the less bassy nozzle on. You might prefer more bass though. I don't really think it leaks sound.
