No, these threads are about sharing information on how to get ahead in private trackers. We should be able to share data freely, but our scummy governments insist on respecting the oxymoronic concept of intellectual property, so those of us who wish to share data are forced underground. Private trackers are the only way to guarantee quality, quantity, and retention to name acceptable level, and the best ones are the hardest to get into, it's a causal relationship. Until things change we'll keep doing this. It's actually kind of fun and becomes a hobby to many people.

Will HDB internal encodes which are a fraction of the size of a full BR upload from TIK look as good as the remux?
Blows my mind how an entire remux is 40gb but internals are like 16gb yet apparently just as good if not better as the source material.

So I read the wiki and my reasons for joining private trackers are to mainly find good sources for education; ebooks and learning packs, etc are hard to come across on public sites and usually notoriously shit and unsorted. Anything from learning a language to an abstract skill is interesting to me. Having a nice collection of things to read up on and learn about when I'm bored is pretty much my goal. Also, a good source of quality movies and TV shows would be nice but the public sources do okay for the most part.
