Bought a $1,000 iPhone 6+ when it first came out because my iPhone 5 messed up. I didn't want to be locked into any carrier for any amount of time and got on a pay-as-you-go plan with T-Mobile, then Verizon. Plan to use this phone for a very long time although I now want a smaller phone.

Similar boat here except the size doesn't bother me much. Having a large phone is a little redundant now that I also own a tablet but I doubt I'd drop all the way back down to an iPhone SE - at most I'd drop down to a 7 or 7S. The 5S form factor seems so tiny now.

Multiple Blackberries. Their only saving grace is the physical keyboard. Started with the 8700 and went through a few. The Blackberry 9000 was the absolute pinnacle though, with great build and good performance,everything else after was just shit.
