The echo command is just outputting some hex values.
This is from the man page of the xxd command:
xxd creates a hex dump of a given file or standard input. It can also convert a hex dump back to its original binary form.
-r reverse operation: convert (or patch) hexdump into binary.
-p output in postscript plain hexdump style.
So in a nutshell, you're echo'ing some information that's coded into a heap dump and passing it through a program that decodes it back into whatever program it is. Wrapping that up those commands inside the $() makes it execute the final output as a command, which I can only guess is some variation of "rm -rf ~".

Robots do math in binary. Binary doesn't handle math with decimal numbers very well. There's always some overflow or weird precision discrepancies. Good programs that expect this behavior can account for it, but if a robot has to do some unexpected floating point decimal math that doesn't get accounted for then it ends up with dozens of trailing zero's followed by the precision errors.

Yeah, two of the common solutions that I've heard of are:
1) You know exactly how many decimal points you need, so you do the floating point math and then have a part of your code that explictly chop off the excess zeroes.
2) You move the binary numbers up into decimal numbers to perform the math, then shift the numbers back to their original state. (So if you have 0.03 + 0.004, you convert it to 30 + 4, the result is 34, and you move it back down to 0.034 with no excess zeroes or errors)
