remuxers don't do shit. it's an illusion/common misconception for new friends on ahd as they don't allow full BDs, meaning as soon as the scene or other drops the BD on ttg or mteam etc ahd users have to wait until a remux arrives until they know something better than scene encodes exists (eg source comes out at same time)
Remuxers can only fuck up. The only positive criterion they can be assessed and ranked on is their speed. ofc 50% FL on ahd is nice and all but the same shit is raced out by hdchina and framestor and drops to even ipt.
Encoders on the other hand, can and many actually do work
YIFY was a transcoder who transcoded scene releases. He used the same parameters each time so no different than warez's mainly automated procedure except the fact his standards were wayyy lower
