IIRC ncmpcpp needs to be compiled in with something that it isn't in most distro's repos but is in arch's, which is why people used to say the git version was what gave the visualizations before the repos switched the compile options. So on any distro you can just compile it up from source yourself and you get the visualization.

You can, uh, run the installer. I don't think there are any problems with using it. You'll have to disable ClearType, just like in 7 or 8.1.

Well, the subtitles are pretty okay most of the time, but the streamrip quality is extremely obvious. There are times when the bitrate is just plainly too low, and it kind of ruins the immersion for me when the video devolves into a pile of artifacts for a half second. Still, I'd kind of like to try posting on /a/ again, and it's kind of necessary to be caught up or you'll get spoiled

I can give you an instruction on how to make a hotkey or mouse gesture to toggle address bar. You can use it to make a button, but the only addon that I know of that adds custom buttons will increase loading times by around 8 seconds. Do you need it?
