The other told me raid 0 was "archaic". Third said "wasting half your space and risking all your data for minimal performance".

hmm well its an x220 and i want it to hibernate on lid close, so far i think i have to compile a custom kernel with TuxOnIce patches (or just grab one from the aur or whatnot) since suspend is crappy, i suspend, and when i resume ive lost like 12% battery ._. but with hibernate the machine is completely off and the data is saved to disk, thats what im trying to achieve.

Missed this, but no, it actually doesn't. Neither does Ubuntu, or any "normal" distro, due to the way the kernel maps out RAID devices before initializing the rest of the boot processes. It can't correctly ID the root partition and mount it causing a kernel panic. The ESP does not correctly format during a mint installation and grub entirely fails during an ubuntu install.

Had a dark theme for the longest time, but there weither text that bugged out so I couldn't read it or inconsistencies in website CSS (going from a dark website to a very bright one etc).
Sometimes a bit too harsh on my eyes, but I recently downloaded Flux and it's been a lifesaver.
Though I hate not seeing new anime pics or any video how they're supposed to look, so I end up turning Flux off and forgettign to turn it back on again.
Would love to have some kind of program that would work like Flux but wouldn't dim pictures if you hover over them or videos if you play them.
