Would you guys recommend the chromebook pixel? For $1300 you get an i7 with 16GB of ram; the downsides are, no function keys, no thunderbolt 3, and a 64GB limit on the SSD. If I were to purchase one, I'd wipe chrome OS and install fedora or arch.
I got a chromebook 15 for $130 and love it.
Look into GalliumOS.

OP here. I agree 16GB of ram is overkill for chrome OS, but my first line of duty (if I were to purchase one), would be to wipe chrome OS in favor of Fedora or Arch.

it's good have you have the money to waste, but for that price you can get a comparable macbook with at least 128 GB of the fastest ssd in the market and put fedora and arch on that

New model is coming out soon. Wait for it to come out.

Still a 64GB SSD.
It would be the GOAT laptop, if they just fucking fixed that shit.

that keyboard has like 7 keys. I hope you like vi, OP

Surely you can swap in a new m.2?
You guys should look into bunsen labs, its a really recent distro that has great UI.
Based off of debian ofc.

You are better getting a macbook.
Just get a thinkpad.

Crunchbang++ is at a more stable place. Correct me if I'm wrong

Really, whenever I see yet another shitty derivative logo that uses open sans unironically, I just know that the project is some uninspired bullshit.
