https://torrentfreak.com/transmission-releases-long-awaited-bittorrent-client-for-windows-160327/
Anyone tried it yet?
How does it compare to the Linux/Mac versions?
is it better than qbittorent?
I have used Transmission on windows a lot of times for a long time.. Whats different about this?
I've been using qt for years why should I care?

The unofficial build you're using won't be updated any more, that's why.
Seems slow to open on windows.
I tried to use new Transmission with 300 torrents, it just crashed.

So should I just stick with qt 2.84 until they iron out the creases?

Since they don't showcase it in https://www.transmissionbt.com/download/ here you should stick with the Sourceforge version imo
It's the same as the Linux/Mac version
The unofficial Qt port is way more stable than qBittorrent but I haven't tried the official one yet because it's not stable release yet.

That's why it's not on the frontpage yet. It's not stable. Use the Qt unofficial for now then migrate your torrents/resume folders later.
Is picotorrent the future /g/?
