How does /g/ saves threads?
Looking for script that:
-keeps original filename in pictures and webm/gif
-dl til 404
additional
-multithread
-not only save pictures but text

Sometimes conversations in /lit/ or even here in /g/ also /pol/
thread notification would be neat too

Not with original filenames, you'd need a script for that.

the only things around 4chan that i find worth saving are some threads in /pol/ /x/ and /lit/
and i save em for the posts, so ctrl+s works fine
chanthreadwatch has been around for 6 years at least son.
Before that there was another program i forgot the name of that i used.
