My Win7 install was too bloated and was over 4 years old. Surprisingly it wasn't, not even a bit slower than Win10. After installing it, I only had to install a USB3.0 driver and nothing else, everything worked. That wasn't the case with Win7. Hell, I even had to hack some synaptics driver to get multi touch working. On Win10 it worked out of the box. Also the wifi connection is much more stable, probably because of the different driver. I accepted that my connection is shit even tho the router is like 5 meters from me downstairs, and 60% signal and 40 Mbps in the max. With the driver Win10 installed the signal is over 90% and I can get apparently 10 MB/s speeds.
I also kinda like the action center and its buttons, also bluetooth settings aren't that retarded like they are in Win7.
But what annoys me besides the windows update fiasco is that the icons on the taskbar are smaller than on Win7 and the icons look ugly as fuck. (You should be able to read out "64" in total commander's icon.)

i know right... seriously - just purchased an x201T for $100 and loaded 7... running arduino and Processing, visio, and some old Flash MX for a maker project - works great... so what exactly does 10 improve on other than bloating the hard disc, eating internet bandwidth, and invalidating my old software (rhetorical question i suppose)
