>can't even do 200Mbps

assuming you're trying to transfer files within a network (and not over the internet), try setting up a ramdisk on both the sender and receiver and transferring directly from ramdisk to ramdisk

looks like you already fell for the 16gb RAM meme
>>
Between wifi overheads and allocation of bandwidth between upload/download and buffer bandwidth allocation, I'd say this is right.

Don't listen to this fuckstain. That's like the people who said who needs 1080p if you have 720p.

trying to find decent hardware for wifi is more of the issue
if I want a nice enterprise solution it's often $60-100

Your disk is bottlenecking it, retard.
>>
Why did you say WiFi networks as opposed to specifically your ISP? Are you paying just for the wifi network and you have no control over your router?

I still don't get it. I pay for a plan through my ISP. I don't pay for some kind of advertised wifi. I mean, I'm the one that sets up my wireless router in the first place.

ISPs expect the average non-/g/ user to use their $10/month (forever, despite only being worth $100-$200) modem/router combo and not their own equipment.
>>
Implying hardware are able to handle internet speeds.

OP can't possibly be that retarded though can he?

Well then again

>Buy plan
>Sees it as "buying wifi"
>complains when modem/wifi combo shits out
>doesn't even know if it's the router or the ISP's fault
>sums it up as "I bought wifi and it sucks"
