Sorry but those builds are all horrible.

Thanks for the "advice". If you're going to call it shitty the least that you can do is come up with suggestions. Help me make a $600-$650 +/- build that includes a keyboard.

Get Samsung 250GB 850 EVO, best value SSD
DON'T buy nVidia
DON'T buy MSI motherboards
Do you really need fans that light up? = autism

Is spending $100 more too much for you? This is what I'm going to get, instead of 370 I'll get 470 after Polaris launches http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YXhQ8d
>>

There's nothing to get that isn't shitty. Quit being so poor.

Use the iGPU until Polaris is released and download a BIOS with Sky OC.

I don't really have time to build a new system for you but a bit of advice would be

>ssd
Never get the Kingston V300. It has notoriously bad failure rates

Opt instead for a cheap Sandisk 120 GB Plus. Good quality and relatively cheap.

>mATX mobo
If you're okay with mATX buy a mATX case. You'll get better airflow with less fans and most can support full size GPUs

>PSU
As the old saying goes never skimp on the PSU

It's one component that can go with you from build to build so buying a good quality one is a great investment and will more often than not save you money in the future. For reference check johnnyguru they have some thorough reviews

Hope this helps

Then you don't need such powerful CPU and GPU.

Holdin off on the GPU till a 950 goes on sale or w/e. Just a gonna play tf2 with performance config anyway lol.

Don't spend a shitload on case fans. Get a case that has decent fans already. It saves you money. Also, don't spend a shitload on the motherboard. DDR4 is plenty fast, even in single channel, and Intel CPUs on 1151 don't require the beefy VRMs of AMD's FX line.

After that, your part choice is just shit. Toshiba makes notoriously unreliable HDDs, and the SP550 has that same decaying memory cell problem as the Samsung 840 evo IIRC, so it's best to avoid it. Your PSU choice also sucks.
>>
>>53703243
You prioritize stupid parts. Drop to h110, get a single 8GB stick, get a cheap PSU (seasonic S12II 520W is great and $50) and you get step up to an i5-6500.
>>
>>53700613
Gee.. I wonder why I love my i7 which constantly been overclocked from day one to 4.5 and lowest it sit at was 4.3... and still works perfectly after 2 years... I wonder why I love it... why?
>>
>>53700788
What is the problem with cases with windows?. As for me i am loving my noctus 450.
>>
>>53703383
The lowest I'd go is a H170, but then I cant OC when I get a 5500K in a few years. That RAM is the cheapest 2666+, and the i3-6100 actually benefits a lot from fast RAM. Lastly I'd never skimp on a PSU and with 80+ Gold this shit will make up for it in utilities. With this build I have a clear upgrade path.
>>
>>53703243
>>53703383

Oh, I'd also get a case that's better, cheaper (without rebates), and doesn't look gaymer. The end result would be this:

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2GjTdC
Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2GjTdC/by_merchant/

Total: $441.71

which is cheaper and better.
>>
>>53703465
Im a few years you'd be stupid to swap CPUs on the same platform. Platforms change, and by the time the i5-6500 is no good, the motherboard will no longer be relevant. Don't be stupid and sacrifice an i5 for an i3 because of bad planning for something that doesn't make sense.
>>
>>53703465
and holy shit, you really thing 85 vs 89% efficiency makes a difference on your power bill? Also, the i3 does NOT benefit from fast ram. Integrated GPUs do if you rely on them, but other than that memory speed is task dependent, not CPU architecture dependent. You're just spouting complete bullshit right now.
>>
Since we are at it, what do you guys thinkg about this:

Cpu I7 6700K
Cooler Noctua D15
Case Noctis 450
PSU EVGA Supernova 850W
RAM Gskill Tridentz 2x8gb 3400MHZ
MOBO Asus Rog VIII Hero

With this i was aiming to overclock it to 4.5.
>>
>>53700613

Long story short OP, AMD is pointless for anything but a budget build or Htpc. Until Zen comes out at least. And we'll see for that, I have high hopes. As it stands right now AMDs 990FX is still their highest tier chipset and it's from late 2011. So buying new AMD is buying Sandybridge Era tech.

But hell dude, if all you're doing is a desktop for a 4chan and porn machine you could do a $300 build and be happy
>>
>>53700613
because amd is stuck in 2013 tech til zen is out.
>>
>>53703628

What gpu are you putting on it? Depending on that the psu might be overkill. The mobo is nice and all but I'd never want to pay more than a few bucks premium over a standard Z170.

Aside from that good build, if you've got the money to spend. If it's only for gaming it's solid but overkill
>>
>>53703628
Go water cooling, closed loop liquid.

And push that processor to clock limit / stability and have a stable temperature and full load.

Unless you want to do that, downgrade your build as it is overkill and mostly you're going to waste money.
>>
>>53703654
Thanks for the input anon actually i was somewhat wondering if i should buy a gpu or not since i enjoy playing some vidyas but most of them are retro but in the case that i do it would most likely go for a 980 ti or something.

I was aiming for that psu because of the good reviews and since it might be overkill i see it as good investment.

>>53703750
I actually "fear the watercooling" mainly for its average life expectancy and the noctua, although it is beast, cools the same and without that worries.

Actually i wanted this build to last at least 5 years and that is why i was wondering if going to clock limit would be wise.
>>
>>53703524
I second this. Good build especially if you're planning on upgrading a little later.
