What will I need to create a website like this? http://magestream.org/

I've heard I'll need to know some PHP, HTML and some other language I forget. I'll also need to purchase a domain from godaddy.

I have a week to do this. Would appreciate any resources you've got. Want to create it for under €10 if possible but I can go up to €50 if necessary. I have no prior knowledge of any of these things but I'm going to be 100% NEET until Monday after next so I've got a lot of time to learn.

Thanks lads.

For installing Linux, use a net installer version.
For only trying it out for a bit use a USB stick and put linux on there using "linux live usb creator"
If you cant do that then use a Virtual machine.

Work with Salesforce.
Salesforce is the fastest growing CRM.
It is a pretty specialised sector thats why there are not as many people who can do it.
You can work as:
Developer
Administrator
Business analyst
and a bunch more.

Administration is just point and click.
I currently make 45k as a developer but I got offers for an administration Postion that pays 60k

You can go to their website and register for a Developer edition for free right away and start lerning.

I'm probably going to purchase the BenQ XL2411Z, tied for the cheapest 144Hz monitor. All parts but this and a GPU have been ordered. Is there anything I need to worry about, like the specs on the GPU, to ensure this thing actually displays at 144Hz. I've noticed that the specs on most budget GPU's only rate their DVI/Displayport at 60Hz (although at res higher than 1920x1080). Is there anything I need to look out for? Should I connect with DVI or Displayport? Please don't say I should get the ASUS instead. That's not why I am asking this question.

My PC has been acting strange, sorry for the long post.
Whenever I start up my computer to the user screen in Windows, the keyboard and mouse don't work at all. But when I click on the mouse, it still lights up, same with the keyboard (the light indicating caps lock is on lights up) which means that they're still plugged in and working somehow (they're USB products, not the same brand).
This started a few months ago I think. Back then I'd just wait a day or so and try it again and it runs normally. But this problem's been occurring more frequently lately. It's like every time I start my PC, there's a 50% chance of the mouse and keyboard being frozen and it's driving me nuts.
The only solution I've discovered is to shut down the PC when both aren't working, unplug both of them while it's off, turn on the PC again and plug them back in when the user screen pops up. It's a hassle to do every single time, I gotta crawl under the desk and blindly look for the USB ports.
I've searched Google for help many times already, though I don't understand the answers much because my knowledge of computers doesn't go beyond the general stuff.
Should I buy a new mouse+keyboard or is it another problem?
& another thing, like I said my PC's been weird, one time I realized one of my drives just disappeared. A few days later it returns. And right now it's missing again..
Does anyone know why these things are happening?

I use Thunar for file management. I have a folder full of albums and, whenever I delete one of them, the scrollbar almost always jumps to a different place in the folder. For a while it would move toward the middle of the folder, but lately it seems to prefer going to the top of the list.

get it on a usb from rufus, and install? Then use DAZ to unlock it?
My install has been freezing up at 64% or so and then it crashes. Is that a problem perhaps from the iso that I'm using? My old build was having issues w/ the ram and constantly blue-screening so I got new RAM, backed up my files, and am going for a clean install.
If I get a windows 10 iso and follow the /g/uide on the wiki, will it be passable? All I have to do for that is essentially the windows 7 thing, right?

Alright, so I have an external hd that I back all of my data to.

When it comes time for backups, normally I delete all of my files and re-copy them onto the drive. But is there a better way to do this? Because it may be unnecessary to copy the same files over and over again to the drive.

Is there a program that backs up data in a better way than my method?

Hey /g/, a quick one. My boot drive is an 850 Pro M.2, and it runs pretty hot compared to my other drives, ramping up to around 60c at load, when my CPU and GPU both rarely make it above 40 and 50 degrees, respectively.

Do you think there'd be any worth in attaching some of those small heatsinks (see pic) with some thermal tape, just on to the memory chips? I could get a pack of them for about $5 US.

tldr should I drop a couple bucks to cool my M.2 SSD, sperging despite its safe operating range?

Mine is right above my GPU, and I have plenty of clearance to add heatsinks. It's probably a consequence of my case setup. Airflow to it is blocked by my RAM, but besides that I dunno why it'd run warm. Possibly just shitty NAND lottery, if that's a thing.

writes for a 4 disk raid10 should be close to the write speed of 2 of the disks combined

zfs is very much focused on accuracy over speed (or anything else, really)
it won't buffer writes on volatile memory (iirc), which can be a big performance loss, it expects you to use an ssd as a write buffer/intent log ("ZIL device")

there is an option to allow ram-based write buffering, at the cost of potential data loss in the case of a crash/power loss (not any more than other filesystems though), sync=disabled

also like other filesystems, you can disable access time writing if you don't need it which avoids writes during file accesses (atime=off)

As a rule of thumb never use rubbing alcohol on rubber just because as you have seen, it eats that shit up. So you have the USB listed as top priority in the boot process? Just want to make sure. If not, go into the BIOS and change the boot priority order.

If thats the case, then the next most likely cause is that the USB isnt formatted correctly. Try using the bootable USB tool at pendrivelinux dot com
