OP here. Fish tank is a decent amount of work, and like another anon said, you want a larger one because they're easier to take care of. Also, don't make the mistake of putting a fish tank on carpet. From my experience, you almost definitely want it on tiles.
They're also expensive for a nice one. I'm in Australia but the tank, filters, lights, rocks and fish cost about $3800. Filtration could have been done with a sump but it would be loud. The tank is the almost silent. My computers louder.

Stereo image is much better, no reflections from the sides and the bass is much tighter.
The backwall absorbers prevent much of the sound from my vocals from bouncing back to my mic.
