Nuke
Kdenlive
Adobe Premiere but as usual with their software, you need to take a course in it to understand how to use it. I always go nuts and give up, after trying to do something in premiere. Bit that may be because I know fuckall about video editing.
videopad does the job for me, easy as fuck

Pinnacle, trust us.
Sony Vegas
easy tier: win movie maker (you want to get something done quickly and your workflow is extremely simple)
mid tier: Vegas, Premiere, Kdenlive (You need a solid amount of features and understand that it takes time to learn it)
High tier: Natron (You want to do every little step yourself, need extremely precise tools and leave nothing automated)

>120kbps Bitrate
At least keep it at 256-320, 120 is noticable even with shitty 3.5mm headphones.
I have a lottle youtube channel and I only use kdenlive and occasionally natron for compositing. I wouldn't mind buying a licese for premiere pro but it's not available for linux and overall kdenlive is pretty great.

You know it has a pop-up on the first launch, which has a tutorial videos section. I'm sure you can also find the videos from the help drop-down menu.
I use Camstasia, it is pretty easy to understand
