Because the browser itself is complete shit, and the ad blocking portion inevitably won't be as good as uBlock Origin, so I'd end up installing that anyway. I would say it's nice for normies, but they're not going to be using fucking Opera in the first place.
It's completely pointless.

I like that the ad blocking is native, that should speed up some pages. unlock is still faster is some cases, though.

I use it on my phone.
It seems to be a lot quicker than chrome or firefox.

vTabs is the closest there is for Chromium-based browsers. It's pretty meh though but impressive considering the browser is inherently limited because big G has no intention of letting side tabs be feasible.
