Code does not have political stances.

If you use or do not use a program because of the politics of the coders behind it, rather than the objective quality and functionality of the program, you are a retard who believes in identity politics.

When you buy something you look for quality and fuctionality true.
But what if two brands or softs offer the same quality and functionality, how do you choose OP ?

Did you happen to read that link to the Opal argument in the thread about a CoC to potentially punish the ones who throw tantrums over team members opinions?
The Opal developers said that politics and opinions didn't have a place in a project,
and the main counterargument the ones who were calling for another top contributor's removal (after said contributor called trannies delusional or something) was that code is for people, and that you can't remove the human element from a code project.
What they meant was they cannot put aside other issues to get work done, therefore work should not be completed until they can work the way THEY want to, despite contributing very little to the project compared to the person in question.
While it is clear that they are refusing to cooperate, how would you even explain to these people that a team member being offensive outside of work doesn't inhibit performance on the project?
Basically if you tell them their opinions don't matter, they just cry "YES THEY ARE! Code is for humans and I am human therefore you must serve my needs!"

Is there no hope for these narrow-sighted people?
