Yea. I'm not looking forward to that. But I might just start out with a fresh version and patch Pango first, then manually add in the systray patch because of how smaller it is in comparison.
It's probably the only drawback I've found with dwm. But I've used it for years before switching to Windows out of necessity. And now that I'm not nearly as dependent on Windows as I used to be I can get back into Linux and get back to using superior tiling WMs again
