Egypt has a terrible reputation for sellers/cheaters/traders. If I remember correctly, around 60-70% of PTP members from Egypt have been banned for one of these offences. BTN probably decided that it's better to do without them entirely.

It's not a matter of 'survival'. The next couple of decades will see digital and communication technology progress rapidly, combine this with the clamour for liberalisation amongst young people and there probably won't be all that much need to hide data sharing habits in the future. Trackers are merely the best we have right now, and granted a fairly good solution, but certainly not the best by a long stretch, there's far too much bullshit that goes along with it and too much control in the hands of a few who abuse this and restrict access to people on moral grounds, not to mention safety and fairness.
Ideally we'll reach a point where one or a small group of people can manage a collection of data and charge a nominal fee to access for maintenance costs and such. This would be infinitely better than the trackers solution.
