why is technology even a good thing? Owning technology for me is really more of a hassle and an emotional rollercoaster than anything. Take for instance my recently purchased laptop.

>buy laptop early last year for about a grand
>accidentally step on it 7 months later
>screen is actually okay physically
>still devastated
>try to send it in under warranty
>predictably gets sent back unprepared
>fire it up to hook up to TV
>screen is completely white
>tv not recognizing computer despite being hdmi compatible
>figure they fucked up my computer
>devastated all over again
>realize ps4 is not being recognized either
>tv is actually a piece of shit
>get a new TV to use as a monitor
>success.jpg
>fire up PowerPoint presenter mode and it fucks the whole setup
>shutdown via metro
>now it just shows a red screen every time I boot up

Fuck, I am so sick of this. I'd rather be born in a time when I could still die of polio.

by putting it on the floor because my desk was occupied with stuff I was working on for school. Yeah its not my finest moment and I would not complain if that's all that happened but all these other contingencies are maddening. Apparently PP 2013 actually fucks the driver for the hdmi output so now my only option is to fix the screen.
