Running pacman -Syu right now. Thanks for the reminder.
>>
In my 5 years working as consultant I have visited countless companies and worked on their products, ranging from Java EE soap circlejerk nightmares to node.js hipster startups and I have never seen a single person developing without an IDE.
Where are you nerds in real life?

This post is so fucking ironic.

What's the problem with it?

IDE's are great for debugging of a mostly complete process, but the initial writing stages, you will want maximum control, that vim or emacs offers.
>>
>>52371079
If you can't google or use :help <command> inside vim than you really shouldn't be using it in the first place m8.

Essentially it makes the mouse work reasonably well in Vim, as you might've guessed. As for what it does specifically - please use google.

CIA shill, please leave.
>>

> using something that isnt an IDE for development
How can someone be this retarded?
>>
>>52370885
But, even if they use an IDE, they almost certainly also use either vim, emacs, or even nano/sublime/notepad++.

I've yet to see a software dev team that doesn't use text editors.

Also, I know a few guys, and am among them, who dev primarily in a text editor, emacs in my case. (Most of them use vim though...)

this
any human being capable of reading is able to use vim by using vimtutor
