Do you guys use a password manager? Which one?
I use KeePassX.
It's pretty reliable if you keep it safe from physical damage

Master password basically your passphrase is a salt convinced with whatever app or website name
>>52231199

I use KeePass
>>52231103
KeePassX 2
>>52231402
When you open a text file from the ZIP, it's placed in a temporary location on disk, usually unencrypted. I hope that the user makes use of disk encryption.
>>52231402
not their method, their justification.
>>52231427
>implying i was implying that
yfw paper and pen is still much safer than any of these password managers
one vunreability in your shitty app and all the bots on the internet be capturing your accounts and asking for ransom money
a gdbm file full of encrypted values.
>>52231512
Don't most things eventually end up in unencrypted space to view?
>>52231622
having it unencrypted in memory is the best case scenario.
>>52231652
Any kind of archive. This is what happens when you use tools for something they were not made for.
>>52231606
its some some ups and downs.
Your physical location is must less likely to be compromised than say the one of the dozens of sites you might have signed up on.
But people tend to make shitty passwords usually
I use lastpass personally.
