Seamonkey. It's the closest thing to old opera I can find in terms of features that is compatible with the modern web.
Fuck everything else, there are no good browsers any more.
Who /vivaldi/ here?
>>52209619
firefox
all the other browsers are either botnet, outdated or don't offer nearly enough features
>>52209619
Depends.
>chilling time

It's funny how Firefox keeps going downhill with each automatic update.
At least they still let me use my unauthenticated add-ons if I change a setting in about:config.
Why does it have to be Chrome?
Is it because of the shitty Romanian plugin devs?

It's written on a whole different level than furfox. I rather mean that chrome did not have the technical debt when it came out that firefox did. Now firefox is slowly fighting with multiprocesses and multicore support while chrome is tweaking their performance.
Chrome literally flies on 7yo laptop with flash disabled. All you have to do is disable HW support so it doesn't choke on the old gpu.

How hard can it be to make something with Chrome's speed and the add-on support of FF?
Even if it takes Mozilla years, why didn't they start long ago?
I don't even want to think about what FF looks like if I disable my add-ons and restart.
>>52209619
Vivaldi, sometimes firefox
>>52209902
Depends. You have to keep in mind that Chrome was NOT developed by google and is a quite old project today. I belive they are hitting the five year old mark in a few months now.
Also Mozilla isn't entirely at fault there either. Due to rapid growth of web with web 2.0 they at some point just couldn't keep up with unoptimized JSes, tons of flash and java applets everywhere. Their engine was more than fine up to the point of intel going straight for multiCPU architecture. I think they just weren't prepared for this and someone did a VERY bad business decission of not getting rid of their technical debt just like you said.
They could do that in a year or two. Now people just give up on firefox as there really is no point in wasting your time anymore.
