What torrent client do you use and why?
I use qBittorrent because:
1. Free Software (GPL)
2. Light on resources
3. Never failed me once (no stalling or IO errors)
Aria2:
1. Free software.
2. Super light on resources.
3. Never failed me.
4. Works in the command-line (I cannot be bothered by GUIs).
5. Literally just enter `aria2c <path to torrent file, magnet link, or any other kind of link you want to download> ...` and it will download it all to your current directory.
Rtorrent
- no need to run xorg if i just want to download some music
- light as fuck

I use aria2 sometimes too. Ever used the web interface?
>>52184332
Nope, didn't even know it had a web interface. Is it good?
I like Aria2 primarily because I can use it strictly from the command line. It is a set and forget kind of program, and I like that.

Yeah, it's alright.
deluge when i'm in windows, rtorrent otherwise.
i first started using rtorrent in my MINIMALIST EVERYTHING college days and now i'm so used to the keyboard commands i use them in other clients and wonder why nothing works.
used to use qbittorrent in windows, i switched to deluge for some dumb reason (i think i wanted it to be a daemon or some other bullshit) and i'm not in windows enough for me to switch back.
>>52185052
Nothing wrong with deluge
>>52184167
There we go. AGAIN.
>>52184867
uTorrent.
1- new to torrenting and it works fine.
deluge on my homeserver, with rss and webui.
Transmission
1. Came preinstalled on my NAS
2. WebUI
Also qBittorrent on my desktop.
>>52184167
μTorrent, would gladly use qBittorrent if it didn't stall.
>>52185558
>le stalled meme
Doesn't happen on a real OS.
Tixati
>cool UI
>just werks
μTorrent 2.2.1
Because just works, had no problems what so ever for 5 years since it's release.
qBittorrent
Free and reasonably fast
qBittorrent because
1. has tags like µTorrent
2. is not actually µTorrent
would use Transmission otherwise.
Halite
works fine for me
qBittorrent, but I want to switch to Deluge thin client if only it wasnt for the RSS downloader being shit compared to qB
As a seasonal anime watcher, a good RSS downloader is essential.

this
I used baretorrent for a while and I really liked it. Last I checked the author took the site down and I haven't been able to find the source anywhere.
These days I'm just using qbittorent because it's okay enough. Not nearly as cozy as baretorrent though.
