What is the best way to hide a text file on some kind of external device?

I need something that can behave like a flashdrive. Also what is the best form of encryption and how can I do encrypt a text file?

Any other ways to ensure that nobody but me will be able to access the text file?

Pic related are keys for homephones which are used to open apartment doors in a lot of eastern block countries. I learned recently that you can somehow hide information on it but have yet to figure out how to do it.

I use those at my work, the ambulance beeps at you until you use it

Store them in an encrypted and/or password protected file in a micro sd card, you can hide those almost anywhere.

Woah buddy, we're not the FBI geez. Also you don't have to make it so abundantly clear you're up to no good.

We also don't have to tell you shit.

Best software for encryption?

We had those at work to require forklift drivers to log in and out to operate the vehicles. If I remember correctly, they have like 8KB of user space available after all the system overhead, at least in our implementation.

write the contents on paper

veracrypt

I've seen them before up to 6GB which gives lots of potential to hide things in. But you need some special hardware to access it.

7zip

Unless you are hiding this from NSA / other governments, encrypting it with 7zip is fine.

If you are actually worried about the best of the best trying to steal this tiny text file then use any successor to TrueCrypt: VeraCrypt, AxCrypt, [insert word here]Crypt. Or since you are just hiding text file don't even store them digitally.

Wow. I've never seem them rated that big. Of course, my project was implemented like 10 years ago and lasted a year, but our hardware was more along these lines.

Use TrueCrypt or equiv. Hide USB or device(I find SD cards to be the best) inside of a electronic device without connecting it. I.E open up old projector TV throw it in and close it back up.

>>52181772

same here we make all fork lift drivers use them for logging in and out of their fork lift its how i audit them on their down time and how we check to see who's hitting shit and not reporting it. the program is shit though but its enough to scare the shit out of the drivers in the warehouse to get their shit together.

I remember seeing those key things ages ago when I was in College. It was used as a secure means to access restricted areas.

Is there any way to bypass them?

Your image is of a button type of data storage system.
I used to use similar ones as temperature loggers as part of temp monitoring system.
Pic rel is the hardware interface to access/and recharge the logger
