currently using FX but I'm saving up rewards to buy Solid Explorer

The bultin manager in my blackberry because my OS is not fucking retarded that it requires a separate application just to access the filesystem.

I used it before but, because of CM update, I can't manage files on external sdcard. Developer is not giving any sign of life. He's probably busy shitting on the streets.

Fucking plebs.

Amaze or ghost commander if you need sftp/samba plugins
>>
I only have the default CM file manager. Is it worth uninstalling it and downloading a new one?

Also is it worth getting a task manager or can you essentially achieve anything a task manager could do through settings?

Cabinet/Amaze
They're basically the same but Cabinet has "Save to" in the share menu so you can save an image to a specific place from other apps. and Amaze is FOSS.

GhostCommander

Android has it's own stock file manager too, but there are many other options. We call them "apps". You're on Blackberry OS so you may not have heard of them.

Blackberries can run Android apps.

Total Commander, of course.
>>

Currently trying Solid, since it was on sale recently.

Amaze is okay, but can't set custom ringtones properly, and the rename function is hard to reach. Cabinet is also okay, but doesn't properly update a new image's thumbnail if it has the same filename as an older deleted file.

The (+) FAB is dumb in all of them, though. How often do people actually create a new blank file? It'd be more useful as a menu button.

My man.
>>
I bought Solid Explorer, but I moved to Amaze, because it's FOSS.
>>
Any file manager capable of opening lan samba shares other than es explorer? Asus zen file manager is nice but can't disable its built in photo/video viewer. ES is becoming more cancerous than ever?
>>
>>52181215
solid explorer. it supports certificate authentication for sftp so i'm happy to use it to access my home server across the public internet. it also looks good.

Not to mention that it has a pro version now.

it's still just as much of a botnet (it's been proven to phone home) but at least it's really solid
