So, a few hours ago I asked you /g/uys what was the best build i could get for $700.
And finally I ended up with this, not counting the Os and Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor and Case.
Should I keep the 500W Power supply or go with a 600W one?

Read the sticky. >>>/wsr/ or logicalincrements.com
>>52142302
Oh, my bad, ill move it there, thanks.
>overclocking on that cheapass mobo
>dat psu for $26 wut
>>52142217
K CPU with h97 board. Do you even want to oc? Swap your CPU for the 4460
>>52142351
Im not overclocking, thats why I chose that motherboard, it has support for crossfire if I ever want to do that and can easily place an i7 if I ever want to upgrade.
>>52142399
I chose the 4690k because it seemed to have the best performance out of all the i5s under 300, but ill look into that one, thanks.
>>52142424
Than buy the 4690 non k. It's just dumb to buy k with h97
>>52142458
Ah, youre right, my mistake, first time building one, sorry for that
>>52142479
Also your CPU cooler is oversized. Go for something that costs less than 30bucks. Dunno what's available in the US
>K variant CPU with locked mobo
>pricy aftermarket cooler for no reason
>no ssd
>optical drive
Not sure what to make of this.

What about this one?

>>52142743
stop what you're doing. buy a non-k cpu, cheapest mobo that fits your needs, and ditch a third party cooler. with the money you saved either get a better gpu though preferably you'd add a (crucial) ssd
>>52142743
Pretty much the most popular 3rd party cooler, and for a reason too. Great for the price
>>52142743
Well those few thousand people won't lie I guess. Go with that. Should be more than sufficient for a locked CPU
>>52142813
>>52142829
>>52142834
Ok, how about this? I need the drive for stuff
>>52143158
Should be good to go now
Since OP's thread is already here...
Am I going to have problems putting an i5 + R9 380 on a micro atx motherboard? Like space or heat? And would putting everything in a middle tower case a good idea?
>>52143343
I assume you meant midi tower. You shouldn't be having any problems. mATX are very usual for "budget" builds.
Except you have a monster CPU cooler which might give you problems, but I doubt it. Just Google some pics of your motherboard(or any mATX mb) and I'm sure you'll find some with a gpus on them.
>>52143318
Alright, ill go with this then.
Thanks for everything guys.
Gonna hijack this thread.
Is this okay? I'm not sure about the mbo.
>>52144029
looks fine.
>>52143708
no retard, I told you to buy a crucial ssd. ditch the meme cooler too
>>52144029
>>52144068
Noname psu and shitty mobo. Get the coolermaster gm550m and a decent b85 or h97 mb. Don't cheap out on these 2
>>52144094
The good crucial ssds are should out/not produced anymore. The new ones are pure shit. Even slower than usual hdds (I'm not even kidding). I have the SanDisk in my notebook. It's fine for the price
>>52144218
that's lame
sandisk doesn't have the best rr cycles thoug and they cucked everyone by providing fake specs so if you get the wrong model you're boned as well. but I guess it's the best we have then?
>>52144029
MSI is generally really good about having the most recent BIOS version on their boards so the haslel refresh CPUs should work just fine on H81.
>>52144094
Whats so special about this one? No reviews
>>52144488
Yeah, and you have to consider that speed goes up with capacity. So the 120gb ones are the slowest of the bunch anyway. That's why I usually recommend my friends to go with 250gb minimum.
