Snapdragon 410
glad to see fx 6300 has a good share going
AMD was saying they want to make all their CPUs compatible with all brands, so does anyone know if the new zen will fit in AM3/AM3+?
I use a 8350 because it's a good price to performance ratio. I use it strictly for gaming though, so probably not the best decision. At least it OC's really well.
>>52070132
If it won't then I'm going intel. Unless zen is like stupidly good. Skylake should at least be marginally cheaper at that point.

4690k @ 4.8ghz in my main rig

No anon, its not the game, it's your old ass system.
>>52070416
I run FO4 on nehalem shit just fine, your GPU is probably garbage.
>>52070416
FO4 runs pretty decent on mine >>52070438 with a 560ti (1gb i think? ) and 8gb ram. whats your other shit specs?
I did have some terrible lag once in a BoS mission where you first get on the vertibird tho
>>52070460
Well run as well as I'd like it to
I52500k oc'd to 4.1ghz, AMD r9280x with 3gb vram, AMD 8gb of system ram.
Can't keep consistent 60 with most settings in high and shadows set to low. Godrays are off.
From my tweaking what kills fps most is grass, shadows (thank god for shadowbooster), and for some reason TAA.
If I run without vsync and with an fps limiter I can even turn those ups, but the screen tearing annoys the shit out of me.
I wish vsync was cheaper. Any advice? Also what should I upgrade first?

>>52070571
that's not the cpu issue m8.
The game is just shitty optimized in some places and the fps fluctuations are huge.
There's nothing to upgrade unless you're willing to dosh out shit tons of money. And next time just buy an nivida card, not because they're better or anything, but because nvidia is run by jews to latch into game development and force stuff into games that make them run like shit on amd cards.
i7 2600k @3.4GHz. Do I need to upgrade?
FX-8320 @ 4.4Ghz

The sky meme
Have an i5-3570 currently, and I'm waiting for a new CPU cooler to arrive so I can install an i7-3770k I've ordered and overclock it.
used to have a 2500k, but it degraded badly even at a mild overclock, and in the end either the motherboard or cpu shit the bed since it just shut off and wouldn't boot anymore
then I went for a xeon w3530, now I have a xeon x5650

I have a 2500k @ 4GHz. What are the mains signs of degradation? Just so I can be prepared to invest in something a bit newer if mine shits the bed as well.
>>52073805
Not being able to hold the same overclock anymore I guess. Could just be a case of a bad power supply or motherboard tho. I think you should be fine as long as you don't up the voltage like a retard.
An overclock can demand more from the VRMs than they were designed for.

I overclocked my XP2500+ and Pentium 166 MMX for a bit 10-15 years ago.

It's 99% to be your motherboard or PSU.
CPUs are incredibly stable and not likely to degrade over 5 years even when running at 1.38 volts (for intel) or 1.52v (for AMD).
