For me equality just mean to be able to have the same salary and have the same chance to have the job, which, in my country, is the case.
If they aren't a lot in tech, it's not our deal, they do whatever they want of their lives. No one is stopping them coming in this field and no one will force them to get out of it.
Personally for every jobs I had they asked me how much I wanted per year and then accepted (or not). Once I made various proposition of salary but the guy wanted me to work for 8k€ less than what I wanted and told him to fuck off.
I'm pretty sure it will be the same for girls. If they ask for a bad salary it's not my problem neither.
