What's the best mouse you've ever had /g/?

Was it best because of gaymin, because of comfort, because of ease of use?

Ahem

Also the best mouse I've ever used

I saw that but people were complaining about it jumping around and not having a very good tracker

This one, it's a really good mouse desu familia
>>
>>51842175
Never had that issue. Bluetooth does run on the 2.4ghz band so some places could have more interference than others I guess.

>>51842175
You can find that posted for every wireless mouse

MX Master, best mouse I've ever used. Because of gaymen, comfort, and ease of use.

>>51842159
My nigga
>>
>>51842159
That's also what I currently have.

If I could change anything about it, I'd have loved for it to have a larger (and replaceable) battery and I'd prefer it to be all black instead of the brown part.

I don't see why this thing shouldn't be able to run on 2xAA batteries like my old MX1100 which was replaced by this one.

The pads run really well on my MM400 mousepad, but I think it runs well on pretty much any surface I've tried it on.

>>51842175
I'm not a hardcore gamer, but it works well enough in CAD for me. Never had any problems in games.
But then again; I don't use Bluetooth.

How's the mouse wheel click on it? I'm using the MX performance at work, and clicking on the mouse wheel is horribly unresponsive
>>
>>51842517
It's very responsive, haven't had any issues with it at all.
>>
>>51842396
The lithium ion change for the Mx Master is for the better. It's lighter and goes on average a month on a charge. Why would you want AAs? I wish my G700 had it which just eats through AAs in comparison.
>>
>>51841951
I hate the G602's scroll wheel. Fine mouse otherwise.
>>51842159
Really good ergonomics, I wish the polling rate was able to go higher, too choppy for FPS gaming.
>>51842347
Holy shit, a glass pad. Nice, I like glass, a shame it's so rare nowadays.
>>
>>51842541
A month?
With 8 hours a day?
Bullshit.

I can maybe get two weeks, but only if I don't use it extensively on weekends.

Oh, and I'd probably like it better if it didn't have the side wheel and had better placement for the forward/back buttons.
They take some getting used to, to say the least.
>>
>>51842563
Hell yeah, glass a best.
It's a shame that Steelseries/Icemat stopped making these, they're great and the surface is still pristine after all these years. Maybe that's why they stopped making them, the surface doesn't get worn down like on plastic/cloth pads so you'd never buy more than one. :^)

Best mousepad I've ever had desu, I've tried a few others briefly but it's just not the same. Glass for lyfe
>>
>>51842563
I had a glass pad before the MM400 (I'm >>51842396 and >>51842588)

It's just too tall to be really comfortable. But I guess it's a personal preference.
>>
>>51841951
G400, mainly for gaming reasons. Serving me for 4 years and still counting.
>>
>>51842203
same here. I also took out the weight tray and modded out the weight tray holder and switch so it's super lightweight now.
>>
>>51842588
I don't track my usage but I use it every day and I know it lasted me at least 3 weeks as I just charged it a couple days ago and the last time I did was a bit before Thanksgiving.

They advertize 40 days on a charge for 6 hours a day so I don't see why it's so hard to believe.

this little fucker....

Bought in 2006, and still using it today. Its starting to die though(single clicks sometime read as double clicks, so its getting annoying. Opened it up and popped the switch open and it LOOKS fine, but i guess the copper spring is wearing out)
It went from a Toshiba M70, to a Lenovo T61, to a Acer One522, to a Asus Transformer TF100.
Would love to replace it with a new one, but its impossible to find since it was discontinued back in 2008... I just want a WIRED notebook mouse with cable managment that does not have one of those stupid clunky spring winders in the middle of the cord.

For premium mice... I only owned one. The MX500. I wore it out to fuck as well(logo and rubber rubbed off. Actual buttons were fine) and stopped gaming on PC's so never bothered replacing it with anything beyond a standard microsoft optical mouse.
>>
>>51842668
Maybe I just use it more, then.
I still don't regret my purchase. Best mouse I've ever had.

I just found this:
http://www.3dconnexion.eu/products/cadmouse

I've only tried their 3D mice of various sorts and they're pretty nice.
>middle click

Well, damn.

some wireless razer, also got some wireless steelseries thingy
>>
Mionix Naos 7000
It's comfortable as shit, but the LMB being fucked up is a common problem on brand new Mionix, and I got one, will return it in few days
Other than that, it's pretty fucking good, maybe the scroll wheel is a bit aggressively "sharp" as in scrolling on 4chins feels like I'm scraping a lot of stuff
>>
>>51842991
Seconded. Comfy as hell. I've had mine for about a year with no problems to speak of.
>>
>>51843063
I guess it's either you get a shitty unit from the beginning or it holds you for 2-5 years if you get a good one
It's also pretty fucking pricey, at least for me, when I'll return it, I'll probably choose between getting another Naos 7000 or maybe SS Rival 300, since I read that G502 is actually pretty small, and I hate when my fingers slide on the mousepad/desk

just swap the switches on your old one. new switches on ebay or digikey for a couple bucks. if you don't know how to solder, this is a good project to learn on.

I've been using a Logitech M500 for the past couple of years. It's definitely not great technically, but I find it super comfortable and it werks. Probably don't get this if you take your competitive gaming seriously.

Had a G500 before that but it gave me hand cramps ridiculously quickly.
>>
The Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0. It's just a basic mouse that fits so well in the hand, and just works no bullshit.
>>
>>51841951
Got this exact mouse and i like it.

>>51843593
This looks interesting. Don't know if it would be good for gaming, though. Especially shit where you have to click a lot.

Just got this today. It's pretty close to perfect, with the only flaws being in the software.

But it's amazing having all the number keys accessible via thumb control. And there is a third mouse button for your ring finger that when pressed, shifts the thumb keys to something else. So you end up with a potential 24 thumb key bindings. And it's the only mouse I've been able to properly palm because of the added width.

The best mouse I ever had, is the R.A.T. MMO7 (pic related).
It’s programmable buttons are super useful to me, as for gaming (which I don’t practice a lot) than for work, having the possibility to access every shortcut I need is really a bliss, and this mouse is really comfortable, in my opinion.
I’ve been using mine for almost five years, and I still love it.

I’m also using a basic trackball, the Kensington Orbit Trackball, but it’s more for simple tasks, such as browsing the internet or my files. It’s more relaxing and better for this use to me. But if I need precision, I switch back to my mouse.
This trackball isn’t what I’d call a good trackball, the ring is sometimes a bit hard to move, but it does the job.

However, if someday I can spend money on it, I’d gladly replace it with a trackbar, I could use one once, and it was way nicer than a trackball, in my opinion. But damn, why is it so expansive? The cheapest I can find is at around €90 (~$100)

Also, I’m interested in testing the keymouse. Seems like an interesting concept, but I wonder if this is an actual good idea? (but damn, it’s expansive too, $400)

My G700. Had it for about 6 years now and love it. Being able to be wired most of the time but wireless when I want is handy as fuck, I have a couple profiles with buttons programmed that makes life easy, and it's pretty comfy to use.
