Because apple are the only ones who bother creating completely new products for end-user instead of just rehashing same old shit with slightly better specs, then pour enough money into marketing said new products and also make them pleasant and easy to use and nice to look at. Literally no one else does that, most vendors just stick some random hardware in some random plastic shell and code some poor-ass software for it. The result is a mess usually.
Google and ms try to do that too lately but without a big success yet.

but because of apple's reputation as an innovative company, they act as a trendsetter. once apple starts doing something, demand for that thing WILL be there. people will want gold phones or fingerprint scanners or whatever apple decides to do next. doesn't matter if they really invented it or if it even makes any sense. apple did it, so it's cool, so they want it.

why do they suck so fucking much? I can literally tap the home button on the 6s within milliseconds and it will register my fingerprint and unlock the device.
How good is that? I mean you get 2 layers of security and it acts as if your phone is unlockable at all times with no passcode for ease of use but give it to someone else and its a brick.
